Travel Technology jobs

Travel technology employers build the systems the rest of the industry sells through: online agencies, booking engines, distribution platforms and the software operators run on. The scarce thing here is not the engineering, it is engineering combined with an understanding of how travel is actually priced, held and ticketed. Distribution is a specialism of its own, covering the global distribution systems and the newer content standards alongside them. Roles are more likely to be permanent, office or remote based, and largely unaffected by the travel season.
