Work based in destination rather than at head office, and one of the few routes into travel open to people with no experience. Contracts follow the season and are commonly around six months. Recruitment runs ahead of it, broadly October to April for the summer season and April to November for winter, so applications are made well before the work starts. Accommodation and travel are often included, which forms part of the package. Roles range from reps and transfer staff to chalet hosts, childcare and the managers who run a resort or an area.
