With the option to be based at any one of the 6 key heavy maintenance sites, the Production Engineer is responsible for supporting aircraft maintenance operations by ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal procedures, and safety standards.
Working closely with the General and Base Maintenance Manager the Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects ensuring they are completed within agreed timeframes, supplying detailed status updates, and will be expected to deal with any minor project issues with little to no supervision. • Experience or working knowledge of Lean tools and techniques such as process mapping, 5 S, Kaizen, waste identification and KPI management.
This will involve building close relationships with Contracted MRO whilst overseeing Base Maintenance inputs on the growing fleet of 737NG, 737MAX and A320 aircraft within the Ryanair Group of Airlines. Completed to EASA Part 145 Standards. Act as the primary technical liaison between the MRO and relevant Ryanair functions, including CAMO, Maintrol, Maintenance Planning, Technical Services, and Safety/Quality, to resolve emerging technical and operational issues. The Heavy Maintenance Technical Representative will be based remotely but will spend a high proportion of time at other UK, Europe and overseas locations.
